Encounter in Dorbai, part 3 of the Shadow of the Green Mountain, tells about the coming of the Dark Dawn, the downfall of the great city of Zanar and about the terrible onslaught in Lennon. The Eastern hordes turn south, taking their slaves with them. The proud Lady of Dorbai offers herself in marriage to the king of the Easterners. Then the two horrible Black Gods appear. Everyone is in shock and then everything changes. And so the original travellers meet again. And tell their stories. They find healing, now the wars around the Sea of Thlelo have ended. But some wounds never heal. Sometimes ordinary people grow into heroes. The book ends with the real hero and the bloodline of the real hero.
